Milux AI Labs ("we", "us", "our") operates the CalCaptain AI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.
Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo URL from Google. We do not store your Google password.
Meal Photos: Photos you take for meal analysis are sent to our secure backend (Google Cloud Run) for AI processing. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after analysis is complete.
Nutrition Logs: Calorie counts, macro breakdowns, meal entries, and daily logs are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage (FlutterSecureStorage). When signed in, your profile may sync to Firebase Firestore for backup.
Profile Data: Age, sex, weight, height, activity level, and dietary goal — stored locally and optionally synced to Firestore for cross-device backup.
Device & Usage Data: We collect basic device information (OS version, app version, device model) and crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics to improve app stability. We may also collect anonymous usage analytics via Firebase Analytics.

CalCaptain AI is available to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Users aged 13–17: You may use CalCaptain AI with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to this Privacy Policy on your behalf. We encourage parents to monitor their teen's use of the App.
We do not serve targeted advertising to any users. We do not sell or share personal data of users under 18 with third parties for marketing purposes.
CalCaptain AI offers a free tier with limited daily scans and a Pro subscription with unlimited scans and additional features. Subscription payments are processed entirely through Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information directly. Refunds are governed by the respective store's refund policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through an in-app notice or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
